Role:

We are a dynamic and growing firm specializing in land development, municipal, and permitting consulting services. We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our technical team, contributing to a wide range of projects. This role demands a strong foundation in 3D Civil AutoCAD drafting and a deep understanding of water resources.

Responsibilities:

• Site development, including feasibility studies, drainage reviews, grading plans, and pavement design.
• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as ICPR, Storm CAD, MODRET, and HECRAS.
• Design of stormwater conveyance and other site utilities.
• Sizing of stormwater detention and water quality facilities.
• Preparation of stormwater permits and site permits.
• Development of site and utility designs.
• Cost estimation for projects.
• Creation of detailed engineering plans and specifications.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for report preparation.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of similar work experience
• Strong proficiency in 3D Civil AutoCAD drafting.
• In-depth knowledge of water resources principles and practices.
• Ability to learn and utilize various software tools as required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
