Job Title: Lead Architect

Role:
As the Lead Architect, you will collaborate with the international design team to develop innovative design solutions for various asset classes based in the US. You will coordinate the design through the various documentation phases of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect’s sketches and documents into realized 2D / 3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with the international design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives as needed.
- Problem-solve & produce construction drawings, 3D renderings, and graphic presentations through all phases of the project.
- Utilize hand and/or digital rendering techniques to communicate design concepts to be implemented as CDs.
- Perform work on all phases of various architectural projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination, and correlation of construction drawings.
- Prepare schematics, design development, and construction documents. Develop, modify, and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
- Research materials to determine the appropriate selection for the project.
- Plan, coordinate, and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
- Review construction submittals and assist project manager in construction administration.
- Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions to those problems.
Your Qualifications:
- Prerequisite: 6+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent from the US
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design software is a must
- Familiarity with Multi-Family, Aviation, Corporate/ Commercial, Retail, and Healthcare Design Concepts, Codes, and Design thinking process is a plus
- Prior experience/knowledge of working with an international (USA) design team is a must
- Demonstrated experience in modeling using 2D/3D software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds MAX, and/or Rhino utilizing V-Ray.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUp, Enscape, and Lumion.
